This year, on World TB Day, the STREAM Community Advisory Board (CAB) in Chennai, India released a documentary about its contributions to multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) research and the many benefits of community engagement (CE) in clinical trials. The Chennai documentary examined the CAB’s journey from a newly-formed CE coordinating mechanism to a trusted partner of the National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis.
