TREAT TB is a multi-year project funded by USAID that seeks to contribute new knowledge regarding shorter, more tolerable treatment regimens for multidrug-resistant tuberculosis.

TREAT TB carries out clinical trials of priority research questions, targeted operational research benefitting global, regional, and country TB control efforts, as well as technical assistance to national TB programs. TREAT TB’s approach is to build capacity where it works and to work in close collaboration with affected communities to ensure they benefit from the research undertaken as part of the project.
